The film takes its departure in a vibrant circus that serves as a vital refuge for hundreds of children in one of the world’s most war-torn countries, Afghanistan. Told through the eyes of two young protagonists, it gives a unique and intimate look at what it’s like to grow up under the Taliban regime.
